Weeding Norwood Park

posted Mar 27, 2014, 2:23 AM by NORA Support

Dear Residents,

We will be weeding Norwood Park this Saturday (29 March) between 10h00 and 12h00!

Please wear a hat and sunscreen, and bring gardening gloves and implements if you have. I will bring refuse bags. City Parks has agreed to collect our refuse bags on Monday.

We will be concentrating our efforts on the eastern side of the park (nearest to Grant Avenue) – pulling out weeds, but also clearing rubbish that we stumble upon.

Look forward to seeing you then!

Please be community minded and report potholes when you see them and before they become gaping and dangerous crevices.

Lead SA and Dial Direct have launched a Pothole Brigade that will quickly and effectively patch potholes.

Potholes can be reported either online via  www.leadsa.co.za  or www.potholebrigade.co.za.

Or you can call  *120*1551#  from your cellphone and following the onscreen instructions or via their mobi-site, potholebrigade.mobi.

(Alternatively call Johannesburg Road Agency, 011 375 5555. This is the same number as you should use for City Power, Jhb Water and Pikitup.)
